Hey all!
As we near the final stretch of our journey here on Kickstarter -- and you will definitely be hearing more from us in the upcoming days -- we wanted to share with you some of the projects that we have found and loved around the world that you can also back on Kickstarter! In no particular order, we have:
The Devil Paid Men
"Journey through this 40 page oversized first issue of a brand new mini-series. In a time when wars were fought with swords and shields, there was a group tasked with being the first into battle. For their greater risk, courage, and enhanced skill, they would be paid double the rest.
They were nicknamed The Double Paid Men."
We love this concept and the art style is so fun, cool, and catchy. Can't wait to see more!
LONG DISTANCE: African Folklore Anthology
"Discover the magic behind the making of the stories in the Long Distance Anthology in our Kickstarter Exclusive 60-pg Behind the Scenes Package! The BTS package will take you on a tour of all the concept arts, storyboard design, production and more of this star-studded Pan-African Comic Book Anthology. This is especially a must for fans of the comic book and animation medium looking to start their own creative journey!"
This one is near and dear to our hearts as it stands at the center of what we love and it has our very own Bill Masuku involved!
To Root Somewhere Beautiful
"Imagine a world in which nature has lost patience with humanity. The wild is done waiting for humans to change their ways. Nature is ready to take matters into her own hands…
And she is angry."
Wow! If this doesn't get you excited to see what happens next, I don't know what will! Maybe... baby hippos?
Fobia: Horror Comic Anthology
"FOBIA is a 116 page collection of 12 short spine-chilling comics from writer Derrick Acosta (Mega64), with art, color, covers and lettering from a team of wicked artists from all around the world. The stories are both gruesome and hilarious, with twist endings and whiplash turn of events that will haunt you for days (and nights) after you read them."
This feels appropriate with Halloween just around the corner. Why not get your spook kicks on and take a stroll down to horror town.
Let's give our fellow comic creators some love and back these wonderful projects!
